2024 WILL MARK THE 58TH ANNUAL CRESTON AUCTION!!
The Creston Fire Department’s largest annual fundraiser is the Creston Auction & Country Fair, and will be held again April 6 and 7, 2024 in Creston, Montana. This fundraising event directly benefits Creston’s all-volunteer Fire Department. It is the largest spring event in Montana, the Northwest and Canada and draws thousands of people from throughout the region annually. The 58th Annual Creston Auction & Country Fair will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2023 and the accompanying RV, Marine, Auto, Farm, Construction & Equipment Sale will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2023, in Creston, Montana located 12 miles east of Kalispell on MT Hwy 35.
Friday, April 5, 2024, 7am to 7pm, is Consignment Day. As a consignment-based event, Creston Fire Department only receives a percentage of the amount for which each item is sold. The remaining money goes to the person who brought the item to the auction, unless the consignor decides to donate the item and give the entire sale amount to the fire department. Commission rates are no more than 30%, with lower rates for higher-selling items. All commissions and proceeds go back to the community in the form of training, equipment, apparatus and facility updates for the fire department. All donations are tax deductible. Hot food and beverages will not be available on Friday. Saturday and Sunday bid tickets will be sold at the Cashier windows on Friday beginning at 7am.
Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 9am the Opening Ceremony will be held and is immediately followed by kicking off of the general merchandise auction and rummage sale. In addition to the auction, attendees can purchase locally made art and handicrafts in the Eastside Grange Hall and smaller items in the Rummage Sale located in the Creston School Gym. Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase all day. Saturday bid tickets are $10 and will go on sale at 7am Saturday morning at the Cashier windows.
Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 11 am the Vehicle and Equipment sale begins.

All bid ticket fees go directly toward paying for 24-hour auction ground security for each of the 3 days. Security and safety is a benefit to buyers, sellers and everyone attending the auction.
Hot and cold food items will be available for purchase at Saturday and Sunday auctions as well as non-alcoholic beverages, including water. There will be baked goods available for purchase on Saturday outside on the auction grounds.
